The department of commerce of MDC Rayagada was established in the year 2016, till now 6 batches passed out from this department. The department of commerce is well known for its dynamic faculties and talented students. For the past few years commerce department achieved ranks at university level on a regular basis, which included university gold medal. Our student Sai manasa achieved gold medal by topping the Berhampur University rank chart for the year 2023, those receiving the Gold medal from the Honble President of india Smt. Droupadi Murmu. Not only education our students excelled in sports and extra curricular activities also.

Our goal is to provide students with intellectual and practical experiences that enables them to serve a variety of societal needs. In our department students are nurtured to became the best commerce graduates. We are having hardworking young and dynamic faculties, whose expertise spans over a number of disciplines of commerce, which makes the commerce department one of the best departments of the Model Degree college Rayagada. I am confident that the students of the department would justify the credibility by showing high level of professional competency in their respective fields.
