The Department trains young mind for teaching professionals especially for secondary schools and colleges. Students get basic inputs in understanding human behaviour and technical skills in teaching learning process through wide spread activities like classroom interaction, visiting schools, survey of school status, school internship programme, community literary awareness, testing students achievement, intelligence, personality, preparing blue print and so on. The department adopts various techniques for implementing curriculum through smart classes, work shop, seminars, talks, online guidance, carrer counselling, action research, project works, innovative teaching practice, group activities etc. The department provides support for capacity building through departmental library, question bank, wall magazine, departmental competition, teaching aids making, assignment, study tour, picnic, celebration of important days, students exchange programs, inter personal interaction, various community survey, online classes etc. The department tries to build high skilled man power and develop the human resources in the teaching learning field.
